Matariki cloak

In June,  Room 13 made a cloak with paper feathers; that we decorated with colourful pictures to do with Matariki. Some people drew patakas (a maori store house for food), a girl wearing a cloak, tikis or stars. Once we had done the out lines of the drawings we coloured them in. After we finished them Mrs Mckenzie stuck them on the long, black blanket along with some other feathers.Once Mrs Mckenzie had finished she hung it up on the wall.  Can you see our signature feather?
