Cross country

Cross Country 

On the 30th May Kapanui school did the cross country. It was ordered from Discoverers then the Explorers followed by us the Inquirers then last went the Rangatahi. The Inquirers did a relay where only one runner ran the full course he/she took a baton with the colours of their whanau. The First runners started and then picked up the next person running down the big hill closest to the start. Next, the first two runners who were holding onto a skipping rope picked up the next person who was in the bush at the top of the hill on that particular part of the track. We picked up the last person at the bottom of the last hill before the soccer and rugby fields. The last part of the track was zig-zagging in between all of the posts. My team was the second team from Te waka to finish.
