Kapa Haka

Kapa Haka 

At Kapanui school some students attend Kapa Haka. Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are allowed to join.

Last year, year 1's and 2's were not allowed to do Kapa Haka but this year its a change of plans.

Matua Rangi is the Kapa Haka teacher and Motu helps out sometimes.

There are lots of different songs and some of the songs where specially made for Kapanui school.

I did Kapa Haka last year and there were a lot of different songs and really good kaeas  but now sadly for the people that still do Kapa Haka they don't really have the good kaeas from last year.

There is also a syndicate Kapa Haka in the morning and then the real Kapa Haka is in the afternoon for all years.

The Kapa Haka kids go to El Rancho to preform.
