El Rancho camp
On Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th February Room 13 and Room 12 went on a two night camp to El Rancho.
When we arrived we put our bags down at the camp site and had morning tea. After some instructions we set off for our first activity. These included Horesriding, Orienteering, Bivouc building, Confidence course, Waterslide and the Flying Fox. On Wednesday we did four activities and the set up our tents at the end of the day.
After a yummy dinner we then held our El Rancho talent quest. We then had a game of Balloon volleyball. which was heaps of fun.
At 8pm, we all headed up to the dining room for some delicious fruit kebabs with chocolate sauce. Then in was ready for bed and torches off by 9pm.
After a good nights sleep we awoke to another fine day. We then headed off for our final activity. After morning tea we went for a short walk to the river as part of our Inquiry unit then we headed back for a refreshing swim at the pool.
After lunch we set off for an afternoon walk to the estuary and beach to do some activities for our Inquiry.
After tea we played some great games, Flag attack and Max ball. We even got to play Max ball against the adults.
